Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe (or Kigali, Rwanda). Enjoy a scenic road trip through rolling hills, traditional villages, and lush farmlands. If traveling from Kampala, you will stop at the Equator for a photo session and cultural experience.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure

Wake up early for a briefing at the park headquarters, where rangers will explain the trekking rules. Then, embark on an exciting 2-8 hour trek through the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once found, you will have one hour to observe and photograph these gentle giants as they go about their daily lives.

After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation. Optionally, take part in a Batwa community experience to learn about the traditions of the indigenous forest people.
