Day 1
Kilimanjaro International Airport to Lake Manyara National Park
Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for the unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds that call the park home. Lake Manyara National Park was established to protect and conserve elephant populations. The shores of Lake Manyara, encrusted with pink flamingos, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants.

Day 2
Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti ecosystem is a geographical region in Africa. It is located mainly in northern Tanzania and extends into southwestern Kenya between 1 and 3 degrees south and between 34 and 36 degrees east. It spans approximately 30 000 km². The Kenyan part of the Serengeti is known as Masai Mara.
Day 3
Serengeti National Park
Spend a full-day game viewing within Serengeti National Park. The expansiveness of the Serengeti is interrupted by Ol Doinyo Lengai, the only active volcano in the area and the only volcano that still ejects carbonatite lavas that turn white when exposed to air. When it rains, the ash turns into a calcium-rich material that is as hard as cement.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, not underwater. Some people call it the eighth wonder of the world. It is home to the densest population of large animals anywhere else on Earth. The area is basically a microcosm of Serengeti.
With walls that stretch nearly 600m (2000 feet) into the great East African skies, the crater can seem like a world unto itself—it pretty much is! The caldera is about 16km (10 miles) wide, but it includes most of the ecosystems in the greater Serengeti.

Day 5
Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park and Arusha
Itenary for the day:
: Breakfast.
: Transfer to Tarangire National Park for game viewing.
: Picnic lunch.
: Transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
