BEST MOUNT KILIMANJARO CLIMBING - SUMMITS HIGHEST PEAK MOUNTAIN IN AFRICA
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania, is the tallest mountain in Africa, reaching about 5,895 meters (19,340 feet). It holds the distinction of being the largest free-standing mountain rise in the world, meaning it is not part of a mountain range.

Mount Kilimanjaro National Park's significance led to its recognition as a United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site in 1987. The region around the mountain is inhabited by various animals, including the blue monkey. Often referred to as a stratovolcano, Kilimanjaro is made up of three distinct cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. Among these, Kibo stands at the summit of the mountain and is the tallest of the three volcanic formations. While Mawenzi and Shira are no longer active, Kibo remains dormant, and there's a possibility of it erupting again. Scientists estimate that its last eruption occurred around 360,000 years ago.

The best routes on Kilimanjaro climbing are:-
1. Marangu Route (Coca-Cola Route): This is the best route; it takes 5 to 6 days for both ascent and descent.
2. Lemosho Route: The most popular route that takes 6 to 8 days for the entire climb.
3. Northern Circuit Route: Typically takes about 8 to 11 days.
4. Rongai Route: On average, it takes about 6 to 7 days to ascend and descend.
5. Umbwe Route: Similar to the Rongai Route, it generally takes around 6 to 7 days to complete.
6. Machame Route: This is the most popular route, which takes 6-7 days.
7: Shira's route

It's essential to emphasize that acclimatization to high altitude is a pivotal factor in achieving a successful climb. Climbers must grant their bodies sufficient time to adapt to the shifting environment and decreased oxygen levels. This approach greatly enhances the chances of a safe and enjoyable ascent.
