DAY 01 (LDH) KUALA LUMPUR - ORANGUTAN ISLAND
0730hrs - 0800hrs Complimentary pick up by English speaking Tour Coordinator.
Visit Batu Caves, climb 272 steps into temple. The Orangutan Island is a Conservation, Rehabilitation, Research, Education and Breeding facility, with veterinary and nursing services. The guide takes you through a walkabout steel fenced tunnel and belts out facts about the Orangutans.
Black Gold is baked Mangrove trees which converts into CHARCOAL. After the factory tour, adjourn for a seafood lunch.
The British War Cemetery is the final resting place of soldiers killed during WW2. The Grave was a consolidation of all scattered graves maintained by Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Check in to hotel and dinner in Taiping.
DAY 02 (BLDH) TAIPING - CAMERON HIGHLANDS
Cameron Highlands is a hill resort with cool temperatures and the largest tea growing region in Malaysia. Visit Tea Plantation, Butterfly Farm and a Vegetable Marketplace.
DAY 03 (BLDH) CAMERONS - TAMAN NEGARA
NEW CANOPY WALKWAY open everyday except Fridays
FRIDAY REPLACEMENT : RAINFOREST WATERFALLS only given by us.
Caution: Canopy Walkway closed if weather is bad.
Rainforest Taman Negara is 130 million years old rainforest with endangered animals as in Tigers, Elephants.
Lunch at Floating Cafe. Boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids and reaches an aborigine village to watch fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. Nature guide will belt out facts about Taman Negara during Trekking. FRIDAYS REPLACEMENT - The 40 minutes walk leads to Waterfalls for a swim and a wallow. After dinner, Nite Jungle walk.
DAY 04 TAMAN NEGARA - KUALA LUMPUR
Visit Elephant Sanctuary 1989 set up to locate, subdue and trans locate deeper into Taman Negara. Lunch is an assortment of vegetables placed on a banana leaf and eaten with fingers. Return transfer to hotel arriving approx. 1900hrs.
