Efficient start into 2020 expected from Travel Turkey Fair - MEET EVINTRA at booth F108

EVINTRA as partner to the TTI Fair in Izmir is helping to attract hosted buyers and visitors also in 2019 again.
According to the tourism map of October, the number of foreign tourists visiting Turkey in 9 months exceeded 41 million; and tourism income exceeded $ 26 billion. For the 13th edition of the Travel Turkey İzmir Fair, meetings with foreign tour operators from 45 different countries, most notably Russia, Germany, UK, Bulgaria and Iran, will provide added value for the last quarter of the year and a great starting point for 2020 tourism perspective in Turkey.

The Travel Turkey İzmir Fair and Congress brings visitors from all over the world together in İzmir this year once again. The event is organised in İzmir under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, in partnership with İZFAŞ and TÜRSAB. TTI is a real hub and meeting point to all stakeholders in the Tourism and MICE sector. Surely it will make significant contributions to Turkey's tourism revenues in the last quarter of 2019 and in 2020 through bilateral meetings with tourism professionals coming from different geographies of the world coming in to İzmir.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Investments and Enterprises of the Republic of Turkey stated that the total number of tourists entering Turkey in the first 9 months of the year was 41 million 564 thousand 536. According to the joint data of the Ministry, Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) and the Central Bank, Turkey has received 26 billion 634 million 764 thousand dollars of tourism revenue in the first 9 months. The number of foreign visitors increased by 14.5 percent and the top five countries hosted by Turkey were Russia, Germany, England, Bulgaria and Iran, respectively. The fruitful first 9 months in tourism sector in Turkey, which entered the recovery process in 2018 and started to attack in 2019, instils hope for the last quarter. In this context, Travel Turkey İzmir Fair will also affect the closing figures of tourism revenues in the last quarter of the year with the procurement committees from 45 countries, mainly from Russia, Germany, UK, Bulgaria and Iran. Travel Turkey İzmir Fair, which will be an ideal platform for tourism agreements in 2020, will make a significant contribution to the tourism revenues of 2020.  

World tourism sector will meet in İzmir
Travel Turkey İzmir, which has been supporting the tourism sector since its start, will continue to bring together national and world tourism giants this year. The procurement committee program, which has become a classic with the support of Turkish Airlines (THY), will bring together sector professionals from various parts of the world in İzmir. Within the scope of the two-day procurement committee program, it is planned to host nearly 200 buyers from 45 countries. The exhibitors are expected to establish new business contacts and to sign contracts that increase tourism revenues of the country. Countries that will come to the fair within the scope of the procurement committee program are as follows:
