In a continued effort to support and partner with the evolving global MICE industry, EVINTRA will be present at Convene, the Baltic Sea Region’s leading meetings and events industry exhibition, taking place February 13-14, 2019 at the Lithuanian Exhibition & Congress Centre, LITEXPO, in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The event is based on one-on-one appointments between over 160 buyers and 85 suppliers from Europe and beyond, including a Hosted Buyer Programme with distinctive benefits; valuing sustainability, safety, modernization, ease of operations as well as positive human resources training for qualification.  It also features an education programme including topics and speakers of specific relevance to the MICE segment, aimed at further supporting their continued business growth. Another interesting feature is the Convene Professional Academy, a three-hour learning workshop dedicated specifically to suppliers, designed to optimize their meetings with Hosted Buyers during the event, to make them as business-driven and effective as possible.

The fact that Vilnius is the host city for this event is an added value in itself: the capital city lies at the crossing between Eastern and Western Europe, being consequently less than three hours away from anywhere else in the continent. Its Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a must-see, interacting seamlessly with a sleek business district and many green spaces, all of them easily connectable by foot. The city also prides itself on having the purest air in any major European city, as well as being rated as the safest capital in the Baltic States.
Along seven years since its creation, Convene has seen rapid and effective growth, obtaining worldwide recognition as the must-attend event for the MICE segment in the Baltic region. Having collaborated as a Hosted Buyer Partner for three consecutive years, now also as an official Media Partner for 2019, EVINTRA is proud to have contributed to the success of an event that is effective for buyers seeking to offer innovative experiences; but also for suppliers, who benefit from meeting with genuine potential sales leads. In this regard, Andreas Thölken, Founder & CEO at Evintra, said: “The smaller events and the emerging markets are of great interest to buyers nowadays, because they are facing the need for new and “out of the box” destinations to present to their clients. These events provide the appropriate intimate setting for more dedicated connections between participants that results in better networking and business.”
