The highlight of the edition was the launch of the Diversity Route, which showcased 20 projects led by different exhibitors in three distinct segments – Afrotourism, LGBTQIAP+ Tourism, and Tourism 60+.

"We want to encourage great projects, and this was the first step to give visibility to companies that are doing well in different communities and segments in the travel industry," said Bianca Pizzolito, head of WTM Latin America, emphasising the commitment to continue the Route in the coming years.

Some of the show's highlights included the debut participation of many companies, destinations and airlines, including the Tanzania Tourist Board, Belize Tourism Board (BTB), TAAG Angola Airlines, Cayman Island and Guatemala, plus the return of the airlines Gol, Azul/Smiles and LATAM/Delta.

WTM Latin America also welcomed delegates from Nicaragua, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Uruguay, Barbados, Cuba, Costa Rica, Belize, Italy, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Maldives, Tanzania and the United States, as well as private companies from Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
