The Events Industry Council (EIC), the most important voice of the business events industry, issued the recipients of its annual Global Awards, which honour effort and admirable achievements of leadership at fields within the business events industry.

ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas will be the place where Recipients will be honoured at the Global Awards Celebration on the evening of October 10th 2022 and the tickets for awards registration can be get here.

Categories of the event and recipient list of each one are:

Hall of Leaders: A recognition to those brilliant minds that has had a significant legacy impact on the global business event sector and whom will join to the previous 143 recipients.

EIC Social Impact Award: The Award recognises outstanding effort in the areas of people, planet and prosperity.

• Dr. Joan Su, Ph.D., CHE, CHIA, CEM, Director of Graduate Education in Event Management / Associate Professor, Iowa State University and The Sustainable Events Forum

EIC Adaptation and Innovation Award: The Award recognises the extraordinary effort on the part of an individual or organisation in the areas of adaptation and innovation to ensure our industry’s relevance now and into the future.

Pacesetter Award: The Award recognises new leaders whose forward thinking and innovative approach has led to disruptive changes that are advancing the industry today.

• David Hidalgo, Show Director, IBTM Americas – RX
• Katharina Path, Marketing Manager Conventions, Frankfurt Convention Bureau.
