Altai Italia srl, an incoming tour operator specialising in outdoor holidays, part of the Altai Group, a network of DMCs and tour operators present worldwide in 29 countries, is looking for one or more resources for its Italian structure based in Catania to be placed as trainee/ intern for the positions of
- Booking and back office clerk
- Travel Designer
Knowledge of French and English are compulsory; any experience gained in the tourism sector will be considered a useful element for the candidate's evaluation.
The candidate will follow a training and growth path within the company under the supervision of the Technical Management.
The internship project provides for the acquisition of the following skills
- operation and administration of a tour operator
- composition of a tour package
- entering and transmitting orders/bookings
- checking and monitoring prices and orders
- checking the schedule
- handling disputes
A 6-month paid internship is offered.

requirements
- graduates or undergraduates in business, tourism and humanities disciplines
- fluent written and spoken English (MANDATORY)
- fluent written and spoken French (MANDATORY)
- precision and care in the execution of procedures
- aptitude for handling administrative paperwork
- excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and ability to work in an international environment
- aptitude for liaising with suppliers and the various professional figures in the company
